What is the minimum order quantity for an ODM VR or AR headset?
Co-Brand projects support single-digit unit samples. Full ODM projects start at 5,000-unit pilot runs, with volume production scaling to 100,000+ units per year on 30-day ramp notice.
How long does BIS certification take?
Standard BIS certification spans 4–8 weeks depending on radio technology and battery configuration. Our in-house pre-compliance testing means we submit once — not three or four times.
Does QWR assist with PLI scheme applications?
Yes. We align production BOMs with Government of India PLI norms and can provide documentation support for partners applying to the PLI scheme for electronics and IT hardware.
What is the difference between ODM and OEM?
In ODM, you build on QWR's existing validated platform with customisation. In OEM, you bring your own hardware specification and QWR manufactures to it. Both give you full IP ownership of the final product.
